[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first observation was the retro old school vibe this jacket was giving, the popper buttons and quilted design gives it such a throwback feel which I loved. My mother said I was making retro cool again, and well if any mother says that, it’s got to be true! Right? I wear this jacket on my evening walks which allows me to remain warm and cosy but cool at the same time. And if you live in England, you’ll know the cold weird weather we’re having currently, meaning this was the perfect throw over for my evening walks. The swoosh embroidery is so neat as well as decent sized side pockets with perfect placement for easy use. I loved how it has such a stylish feel to it and is an easy wear jacket with the button snap down the middle making it really quick to put on and off, remaining super lightweight which is an added bonus when getting the steps in! We’ve not even got to the colour! The colour is the perfect shade to wear all year round no matter the season. Really easy to build an outfit with and goes with literally everything. The fabric is strong and durable and has been stitched amazingly, so many details up close. Like the cut out detailing along the bottom trim of the jacket, love this little touch. In my opinion I would say the jacket does come up slightly oversized. Personally this is my preference and my favourite aspect, it’s so versatile I can wear this for exercise or when I turn into a fashionista by night. But, as there’s no features to adjust the jacket, I would say it does run quite big. Overall, I felt amazing wearing it and had many compliments which gave me a great confidence boost! This will now become a staple in my wardrobe and would love to see it in more colours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vintage is in. Everyone loves a retro-throwback and here we have a brand new jacket from Nike that looks like my grandma would have worn it. The design is spot on. Its pleated appearance with no collar and classic popper-buttons is straight 1980’s and in this glorious yellow colour, it is absolutely perfect. Seriously, the colour is amazing. The materials are fantastic. It is well made with embroidered badging and clean lines. It is lightweight but filled with insulation which would make it a fantastic mid-layer or spring time outer layer. It does, however, run quite big which means if you wish to wear it as a mid-layer I would certainly size down. The oversized style makes it very versatile, however beware that there is no adjustability such as drawstrings. But considering I am pregnant right now, the jacket is fitting me through all trimesters! There is nothing I would change about the jacket at all. It is my go to during these warmer months and it is easy to style with either sporty or casual fits. Best of all, my grandma wants one too!

It’s lightweight makes it easy to move around in and keeps the cold out whilst keeping you insulated. The button down front makes it easy to adjust on and off. It’s soft to touch and comfortable against the skin. The two front pockets are secure and designed well to also insulate your hands if need be. Machine washable, it came out as good as new and definitely in the easy care category. All over a new wardrobe staple!!
